How can I unlock this menu?

Hi friend,
here are your locks for Menu Tabs to Unlock :

iRST (0x53) 1)
Power (0x377) 2)
Advanced (0x157) 3)

08DD : 74 66 to 74 00 jz short loc_180000945 to jz $+2

08EA : 74 59 to 74 00 jz short loc_180000945 to jz $+2

08F4 : 74 4F to 74 00 jz short loc_180000945 to jz $+2

But problem is that your Bios is Capsulated so We have o try Recovery Mode or FPT Intel Tool, lately many V5 series laptops are Write Protect, so use this tool and run It as Administrator ad upload here redult file to see your Eeprom Status :

Acer Aspire V5-572 - G - P -PG - V7-581 - G - P- PG
Same MoBo Same Bios

Hi friend,
use this tool run it as Administrator and get a result file then upload It here :

http://rghost.net/56932575

Your Bios Backup file is into result file so unpack It by 7Zip and extract x64_bios-region_8.1.10.1286.bin file
rename as biosbackup.bin !

I want to start a New Way to pass Mods to users :

AutoMod

Using CodeRush Tool UEFIPatch + Patches.txt We can do the Mod by ourself, in any time and wherever We are !!!

Just use the right Patches.txt for the own Bios Version, so for V7-581PG 2.210 use this one !!!

How to use ? It's easy, just do a biosbackup.bin file and drag&drop on UEFIPatch.exe (the Patches.txt file has to be togheter at tool) It will reply with a file patched, then rename that file as bios.bin, put It into modified folder where are all rest tools to re-flash Bios Mod and copy all files from modified folder to an USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and Boot from USB !
Then at CLI Prompt Comand run flash.bat That's It all !

Here CodeRush Tool :

http://rghost.net/56830811

The Patches.txt file for V7-581PG 2.210 :

http://rghost.net/56964022

Here Modified folder with all tools to re-flash Bios Mod from USB, follow instructions :

http://rghost.net/56795507

I hope It will become the New Mod Way !!!

Thanks for the help

I am however getting the below error - any ideas of how to resolve?

I have created a bootable USB drive, copied the files to it and created the patched bios file by dragging it onto the UEFIPath program (And then renamed it bios.bin) and the error occurs when running flash.bat

Thanks,
Peter

Look here for error :

http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Re...M4313-Wifi

You have two Eeproms W25Q16BV - W25Q32BV :

You have to modify Fparts.txt file Eeproms definitions :

W25Q16BV, 0xEF4015, 0x1000000, 0x1000, 0x20, 64, 0, 0x60, 80000
W25Q32BV, 0xEF4016, 0x2000000, 0x1000, 0x20, 64, 0, 0xc7, 80000

Have to change last for 0xc7 to 0x60 . . .

W25Q32BV, 0xEF4016, 0x2000000, 0x1000, 0x20, 64, 0, 0x60, 80000

Save mod and retry.
