i had create bootable use rufus and flash using legacy mode because UEFI mode not detect my thumbdrive.
should flash on UEFI mode?

have you solved the problem?.

i had unlock the advance menu, but i'm worrying if i unlock the secure boot option it will change my laptop serial number(my acer v3-471g is still in warranty period). anyway, here is my result.rar : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3tkcXR...sp=sharing

The only solution is a SPI External USB Programmer with POMONA Soic Clip :

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TL866CS-USB-Univ...4#shpCntId

It needs flash directly Eeprom by Hardware !

Hi,

Pls help me update my Acer Aspire V3-471G from legacy bios to UEFI. I am planning to install Mac OSX on this laptop.

The InsydeFlash utility keeps giving me the following warning when I run the flashing app.

"Not allow to flash secure BIOS on current platform"

I'm currently on bios v1.29 ID: ZQS and the computer is running windows 8.1.

Thanks.

Daniel
