Hi! I'm new here.
I read some of the tutorials, but i'm still a little confused.
I have Packard Bell LM85 laptop with phoenix BIOS.
I'd like to know what to type in dos (boot) to get the modded bios flash to work???
is it phlash16 /s /x /force? and should the original JE70126.ROM file be included in the flash drive???

I need your help.
I'm trying to get my easynote LM85 quieter.
With notebook FanControl I got the fan already quiet.
Now I would like to CPU settings. RMClock does work, not with the i3 370 cpu.
The Phoenix Bios is unfortunately circumcised.
I have the original BIOS version 1.26 as the initial thread.
When I try to use Phoenix WinPhlash the mod bios JE70126.WPH to flash; i get the error message:
"New BIOS image size doesn`t match current system BIOS size
Error code -200 "

Thanks for confirming,
Moved to unlocked /mod
Hello AHMED HOSSAM,
i am new here, and i have also a Packardbell Easynote LM85-JO-035GE. BIOS 1.26 "new".
My request would be, to unlock hidden menus and to make it possible to use the mini PCIe Port by side the RAMs.
The mini PCIe slot is not told in the manual, for what can it be, tha a mini PCIe SSD ?
I have a SanDisk SSD X110 256GB MLC SATA600 - mSATA.
Can i use the Bios from Thread before, or can you make a new Bios with mSATA on mini PCIe support ?
Thanks, Joerg

I have Packard Bell easynote lm85 JO-137-RU. OS - Win 8.1. Version of bios - Phoenix Bios 1.26.
I tried to flash bios via phlash16 using this guide http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-HO...OS-PHOENIX
When i try to flash bios in MS-DOS it gives me error, but i can't say which error, because my discrete viedocard is broken, so there is a lot of artifacts and glitches on the screen, and i just can't see which error is this. After that, i tried to use winplash (because in windows there are a lot less graphical glitches), many versions of it gives me error(something about DXE(driver executable enviroment)).So finally i tried winplash 1.7.16.0. This version is working,i guess, because it doesn't saying anything about DXE, but gives me another error - "new Bios image doesn't match current BIOS size.Error code - 200". I read some articles about this error in the internet. As i understand, the problem is that your modified bios file is bigger than capacity of my bios chip(maybe i have special bios chip, i dont know ). Also i read that it's possible to flash bios using fiile in .rom format. And bios files in .rom format a little bit smaller than in .wph. So it looks like modified bios file in .rom format will work for me. And if i'm right, can you make unlocked bios file in .rom format?
Please))
Thank you very much. It's working very well. I've installed in my PB LM86 because it has the same motherboard. Do you know any recommended setting for the Intel tab?

Hi, i would like to know if the CPU compatibility is increased with the mod, and also which CPUs are compatible to the BIOS I am looking to upgrade the notebook
Also i would like to know if it is possible to unlock the video bios voltage control, since the card barely hits 65°C under overclocked full load
