I have Lenovo G780 and I have problem. In laptop, there is BIOS 5ECN96WW(V9.01) - backup file is here : http://ulozto.cz/xLtFVfX2/lenovo-5ecn96ww-v9-01-rom
I need to flash to my laptops this BIOS : 5ECN41WW(V4.00) because on current BIOS (5ECN96WW) don't work windows 7 ( don't work brightness settings ).
5ECN41WW BIOS file is here : http://ulozto.cz/xTDsxTCz/lenovo-5ecn41ww-v4-00-rom
The BIOS file was backed from other laptops.
And I need modify BIOS 5ECN41WW by my current BIOS 5ECN96WW and remove whitelist.

Name: Lenovo G780
Manufacturer: Lenovo
Model: 20138
BIOS: 5ECN96WW (V9.01)

Please, help me.
Thanks !

Please use AIDA64 Extreme (cracked) to get all DMI data as into Win8 Bios 1st tere is only Bios release version and a Win8 Serial, but missing DMI Data, for 2nd missing Serial.
So get all DMI Data and upload to me a Complete Report from AIDA64 then I will give to You the file.
Upload too the first Menu Tab (Main) Bios Setuputility Screen Shot (photo) to see your Data !
Regards

Thank you for your time !
Here is WinRaR archive : http://ulozto.cz/xx6sQoRH/bios-rar In archive, there are all files and screenshot, and I took a picture of the whole BIOS.
I hope that it has all the necessary information.
Sorry, my Englis is bad.
Thanks!

I used yours Bioses just copying few data fom one to other !
You can compare doing an HexCompare bytebybyte and can look the differences.
Only this data :

Original Data

Serial :

CB21433320

Board Num :

3053253402611

UUID Num :

767B521B-7009-11E2-AA97-20898440FD72

Then if your Bios is corrupt or not for G780 I am not responsable

Many times changing Bios We have problems about CMOS so We prefer flash before Original One and then Modified !
Let me know better

We can try to Downgrade using Original Bios from Lenovo modifing Platform.ini settings.
You have to get Original Bios File 5ECN9WW (9.0) unpack It using 7Zip then open folder You got and find Platform.ini file, open It by TextEditor and look for this row :

Bios_Version_Check]
Flag=2
CheckByBios=0
CheckByBiosErrorMessage="This BIOS file is not allow to flash. The flash process will be terminated."
;This flag is the switch of checking BIOS version.
;Flag default : 2.
; 0 : Don't check rom file version.
; 1 : Check BIOS version.
; When rom file version is older then BIOS, it will display
; a warning message and close application.
; 2 : Depend on BIOS report.
;CheckByBios default : 0.
; 0 : Normal process.
; 1 : It will pass version by IHISI 45h to BIOS and check by BIOS.
; When BIOS return not allow to flash, it will be terminated the process.
; When BIOS allow to flash, it will go ahead and do it's normal process.
; When this flag is enable but BIOS not support, it will skip version check and assume allow to flash.
;CheckByBiosErrorMessage
; default : "This BIOS file is not allow to flash. The flash process will be terminated."
; String : User defined error message when BIOS is not allow to flash this version image.

Then modify Flag=2 to Flag=0 (Don't check rom file version) and save the file and try to flash using InsydeFlash into folder.
After Downgrade We have to check if It's pssible to modify Bios Settings to Boot from USB !
Let me know
