I ended up here because the wifi card in my g505 (AMD A6-5200) failed and when I tried to replace it I learned about the whitelist the hard way.

If I'm understanding correctly, you're saying nobody knows how to modify the iscflash.dll that Lenovo gives you and nobody has found any alternative way to flash the BIOS that actually works?

Ok friend,
You understood well !!!
InsydeFlash tool has this iscflash.dll which contains all checks and permits to flash Bios Original (Capsulated and Signed) and not Modded ones.
The only way to flash Bios Mod is using a FPT tool from Intel and Phlash tool from Phoenix, It's only way to bypass the checks done from Bioses Manufacturers like Insyde, Phoenix, AMI, etc. (not Lenovo or Arcer or Sony, etc.).
I hope You have cleared the situation now.

Did you manage to obtain patched bios?

Hey
Did the bios mod work, cause it is an AMD processor, and I read in the previous posts that it didn´t work.
If it works, I would like to join and ofcourse contribute.

Hi friend,
I will explain bfriefly !
All actualy Bioses are UEFI and are Protected against modifies !
So to bypass this issue We found some tools, but the couple out of luck
is Insyde Bios + AMD CPU = nothing to use as tool !
If You get an HW SPI PGM We can rewrite your Bios Mod directly into your laptop
Eeprom Chip bypassing all checks !
let me know
Regards

P.S. Removing Whitelist Mod are working well !

Is not updated. Error 201: [FPT.exe] can not be run on the current platform.

In the BIOS can not find SecureBoot?

Or I'm blind. Confused
