Thanks for posting these. I tried out the modded BIOS for the Optiplex 330 and it works great.  Before using the BIOS I received the unsupported processor warning and the fan was very loud.  Now everything is quiet and no more warning.

A big thanks to Serg008 over at My Digital Life forums for adding SLIC back into the 330 BIOS.  The updated BIOS can be found in this thread:  http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads...ad/page447

Does this update work with E5450 E0? I have Dell 330 and I heard that there are problems installing E0 revision. Can someone confirm that I can install E5450 E0 after this update?

Before the BIOS update I received unsupported processor message and the fans were running very fast. The update above solved the issue and an E0 E5450 now works fine.

Hi,
I'm new here and sorry for my bad english, I am from germany ;-)

I tried my very best with a X3220. It's already a 775 CPU, 65nm Kenfield G0 (SLACT).

Works on a 745, but not on a 755, 760 or 780, with or without BIOS MOD. (All USFF).

I get this "Unsupported CPU installed. System halted" message after turning on the computer...

can someone help me with that? 755 and 780 are not really neccesary (but would be fine), but it would be great if this works on a 760!

And I have a X3323 and a E5410 here (but no stickers yet), is it possible to get them to work, too?
