Hi friend,
have You took an SPI PGM and have You done Chips Dumps ?
Can You upload here for me ? may send an PM to me !
It's important for You to get a came back way and for me to study them !
I will make a Bios Mod, but We have to see where to write into these chips :
You have two Eeprom Chips :
1. W25Q16BV 2048 KB ---> Descriptor - ME (GbE) - Bios
2. W25Q32BV 4096 KB
Your Firmware is 6144 KB Total and Chipset map all address offsets as Whole Eeprom Firmware !
Upload the two Chips Dumps to modify them with Bios Mod.

Hi BDMaster,
So I made a dump of the W25Q32FV chip, for some reason it is not possible for the W25Q16DV chip, think that one might be protected or the program just simply does not support the chip (although it is on the supported list). The tool used to read the chips via dos are not showing the exact correct chips, although the chips are similar or at least in the case of the FV/BV not sure about the 16BV/DV but the model on the chip is what I gave you.
But as far as I could gather the W25Q32FV is where the data is programmed on.
Bios dump
Hope this helps, i'm still looking why i can't id/read the other chip.
Regards

This file is almost empty and there is none Bios Corrispondence (any ME or Others)
I think your HW SPI PGM not work well and cannot get right files !!!
You can do an Hex search to compare a bit of Dump file into your Bios Bcakup It not match to any template !
I am sorry
Can You say which SPI Programmer are You using ?

Ok friend,
your is now ok as structure but You read only half size !
Normal Bios File is starting from 0x00000000h Offset to 0x00400000h address and it end with this bytes 785634120000F0FF !!!
Your end to 0x00228000h offset and is filled of 0x00h bytes until 0x00400000h address !!! ,so I think something is set wrong on your SPIPGM.
I compared your with another I got (is a Bios Backp) and there are these differences, not normal as your is missing of a good chunk containing DMI informations (UUID, Serial, Model, Windows Key, Etc.).
You can do by yourself as You get your Bios Backup 8ECN94WW done by FPT tool, It's the complete Region_Bios Dump !!!
I can use this one to make a Mod and reflash by SPIPGM, but if We cannot get right version reading We can never write again back Modded !!!
Look again your SPIPGM setting choice the right Eeprom Chip and retry.
Let me know

Hi BDMaster,
Thanks for the information, I will check later on and see if i can get a good one for you. Also get the other rom (W25Q16DV).
I detect the chip id and then select the W25Q32FV as that is what it is saying on the chip itself so that should be the correct id of the chip.
Let me get a good one, no use to waste time on a incorrect bios backup, will let you know when i got the backups.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Johnny
