Then again I used my bios programmer, so I wouldnt know. The fan issue sld be easily fixed with repalcing the HP acpitbl at least 4 the abit bios. Fofr the biostar, what OC options are missing, and how is phenom support lookin.

successfull flash biostar beta bios and oringal bios.
way cooler overclock functions.
oringinal bios didnt detect 4450E processor, newer bios did. didnt affect startup ether way other then "unknown processor" and continued to boot windows.
lots of voltage options. didnt see a clock multiplier, but havent played to much yet.
crazy fan issues. doesnt detect sys fan rpm at all and cpu fan rpm is way off. you can manually adjust settings in smart fan thou, i set some crazy temps in it to get the fan speed down to normal on the cpu.
note. had to use /f to flash bios. usb keyboard disabled by default, be sure to enable it on first boot
Edit#1 - Min(default) ram voltage 1.95 (fine for me, maybe not fine for people with 1.8v ram) goes up to 2 somthing. can increase chipset, cpu, hypertransport voltages by preset percentages. still kinda cool. all overclock options in one menu. Really cool! supposedly you can hold down insert and press power button to boot with default fsb so you dont have to manually clear cmos (from biostar manual) have not tried it yet.
This bios does have a splash screen I suspect someone could play with
will play more in a bit
