[REQUEST] Lenovo IdeaPad U310 & U410 (65CNxxWW) Whitelist Removal

Hi guys!

I think the only way of possibly getting my bios back up and running is using SPI PGM method. So I'm assuming I will need a binary or hex file? Would anyone be so kind to be able to extract my hex or binary file from my results.rar file if possible so I can try to flash it straight to the bios chip when my programmer arrives please?

Edit: I'm pretty sure the programmer will need a hex file judging by the programmers Ive seen and from the SPI PGM link above.

Ok kris,
your Bios Backup is into result file, unpack It and copy "x32_bios-region_8.1.51.1476.bin"
file !!!
It's not only fie We need to recover your laptop as You have to extract whole Firmware from
your Eeprom W25Q64BV 8192 KB !!!
Sousing SPI PGM You have to get the FULL DUMP and then store (uplad to me in PM) as
your Bios is a part of It and I have to replace with your working backup !

Hi!

Can somebody help me? I want to remove Wifi card whitelist from my Lenovo U310 (non touch) bios.

Originally it's an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200 (2200BNHMW) card, but I want to change it to an Atheros one.

Ahh ok thanks for clarifying! So when my SPI PGM equipment comes I will try to read the existing eeprom and then I will upload to you? I also ordered another bios chip from http://www.bios-chip24.com/epages/63730052.mobile/?ObjectPath=/Shops/63730052/Products/19320&Locale=en_US more out of curiosity and if all else fails I will replace it but would it be easier just to copy all the info from the new bios chip (if possible) to the existing bios chip or would that mess things up even more?

First thing to do is Read all Eeproms Chips on your MoBo to get FULL DUMP Firmware Backup, then
We can rewrite as many as chips we want and avoid to loose their contents !!!
I will modify them for You and will help to get all files We need

I'm not able to backup my bios using the Universal Toolkit. I've downloaded it several times and is just not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
