So, I flashed my Acer Switch 10 (Insyde) using the official Acer utility and BIOS was updated sucessfully. The problem is that before all this, I disconnected the Windows touch key and then wrapped the tablet in a skin. The official Acer method has the computer restart when it then flashed the BIOS, something else and then a Cypress module. The Cypress device fails to flash, 3 times, before giving the error; "Cap sensor FW fail or dont plug" - which i think translates to roughly 'either your sh*t broke or it's disconnected'. It then boots windows, without fail.
It will re-initiate that (presumably) final flash of the Cypress device every reboot of the computer. I would very much like that to end by any means necessary, apart from disassembling the tablet and reconnecting the windows touch key.
What do?
