Hello.
I want to disable the internal HDD of my notebook, how can I achieve this?
Do I need a "hacked" BIOS?
The notebook is Acer Aspire 4552-3494
Phoenix SecureCore
V1.05
Bios lacks several advanced tabs, I feel too much missing!
V1.05 can be downloaded here: http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/...ER&SC=PA_3
Last provided version V1.09 here: http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/...1419577252
I will boot from an external drive and dont want anything writed or readed from my internal HDD.
I have a very clean OS in the internal HDD which never had connected to the internet and I want to keep it clean as it is now.
Physically remove the HDD will be very complicated as this notebook dont have a HDD door, all bottom part needs to be dissassembled
Thank you very much.
