If i had a original bios - hdd caddy(2nd hdd) is not detected, then i flash unlocked bios from this thread, bios detected hdd caddy with my disk seagate momentus 250GB, when i change hdd to wd blue 500GB bios not detected this hdd in hdd caddy.

On Lenovo B590 is no problem with this caddy with boths disks.

Actual bios in my lenovo https://app.box.com/s/ts1zkj05uh78c7tv4x5u

Ok friend,
what I can suggest . . .
First remove 2nd HD (I think You changed It as WD now) then load new default Settings
and Save F10 and Exit It will save into bios NVAR 2nd HD none !
Then Mount again your 2nd HD WD and go to Bios to see if releved, then Save F10 and
Exit and Boot to Windows !
Let's try this and let me know

Can You check the CMOS battery power ?
It seems that Settigs are not stored well !
I can't figure out how can happen this !, but sure is cause by an Eeprom issue
may be power or corrupted, so CMOS are not stored !
Let me know

Hi, I have an unsual problem after flashing the whitelist bios. The flash went fine and my network card works now, but everything is responding very slowly. Even in BIOS the inputs are slow to respond. Windows open and close slowly as well. Any ideas?

Hi carterryan22

I too had this problem with the BIOS being very slow and Windows 7 taking an age to do anything but Linux Mint was as fast as usual after the BIOS boot. I even worked out how to tweak my own version of the BIOS in the hope this would help but it didn't.

However, I did find a solution from this forum, although it was not intended to solve this problem. The answer in my case was to mask off pin 51 on the new wireless card and like magic the speed of the BIOS and Windows 7 was back! This page, fifth post down tells you what to do and the only difference I have noticed is that this seems to prevent the wireless card being turned of when the computer is suspended.

I hope this helps you too.

Cheers
