Hi friend,
ask to Steven = Sml6397 Phoenix Bios Expert !
(I think there is nothing to do if AHCI don't work well or at all
as It's hard coded into Bios self) !

Thank you very much, friend! Well, as far as I can see my Compaq Presario CQ50 runs only in IDE mode and I saw something about PATA (as opposed to SATA), which sadly sounded old to me. I'll try and get in touch with Steven about it.
