d:bu28m2 v201l13.282
d:bu28m2.exe v201l13.282
etc (depending on the bios i am trying)
d:bu28m2 -d -cf28-mk2 (brings back expected 13.82-l13m00).
I'm thinking i will have to get a copy of the orignal bios flash file (easier said then done)

this is the correct bios for your machine.
http://www.modly.net/CF-28/BIOS/P-BIOS.zip

copy to dos boot disk, flash drive etc
(make sure the bios utility/files are on the BOOT device you are using
boot to dos using flash drive or floppy or cd etc...
just type the following command

"biosup"

reply with exact error message if any.

you could also try renameing the bios to somthing short like
"bios.bin"

then boot to dos and type

bu28m2 bios.bin

just in case whatever version of dos you using doesnt like the file name for some reason.

With "-d" option, this utility doesn't check the existence of

To initialize the CMOS setting to the factory default, perform

ECMOS /isf

Initialize the CMOS setting to the factory default after updating serial

Hi,
Can you help?

I would like to write the model number and serial number in the BIOS ROM of my CF28. Your post looked very interesting.

Could you possibly let me know the exact BU28M2 command for doing this with, for example, the model number CF-28PCDEFGH and serial number 3AYBB01234?

Thanks,

This is DMI information , you need a separate DMI tool but i dont seem to have one for this manufacturer and they are manufacturer specific utilities Sad
