Does it enable Advanced Settings? Because i need to enable VT-x on my Acer Aspire 7739

Thanks in advance

P.S. Menu Tabs Unlocked = Advanced and Power Tabs !

Recovery Mode :

Rename that file as recovery Name HMAX64.fd then format an USB
in Fat32 Dos and copy It into !

- Shutdown the netbook (notebook)
- Remove all peripheral devices
- Remove battery, Remove AC power cord
- Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds (battery and AC power still out), then release
- Put the USB Memory Stick in the USB port
- Hold "Fn" + "Esc" and plug the AC power cord in
- Now press the power button (whilst still holding Fn + Esc).
Wait until the fan will run, then release "Fn" + "Esc" keys
- The fan will run for about 2-10 minutes and the USB drive activity LED will blink
- I think the netbook rebooted automatically. If it doesn't, unplug the AC power cord once the fan has turned off

The bios should be updated with the modified BIOS, and boot as per normal.

Unfortunately that didn't work.. I also tried Win+B as suggested in other threads.

I formatted the drive in FAT32, is that any different from FAT32 Dos?

Hey, can you please re-upload this bios?

Is it for pure aspire-7739 or for 7739G? I actually need for pure 7739.

Will it allow to modify hard drive configuration?

Thanks!

Thanks! worked like a charm! For those who are trying, but can't get it to work:
Try this thread: http://www.howtogeek.com/136987/how-to-c...usb-drive/

Boot the pc via USB, and run the .bat file

Thanks BDMaster and felipejfc, big kudos for you guys!

(felipejfc's zip contains the .bat file, within the DOS folder)

(BTW, i also have the Aspire 7739, that's without the trailing G)
