Asus P5LP-LE (HP Leonite & Leonite2) BIOS Unlock
#1
Hello, can someone please unlock the HP bios for the ASUS P5LP-LE motherboard? There is a whole load of options that are hidden (overclocking, hardware virtulization, ect.)

Here's the link to the HP windows BIOS updater
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=pv-60348-1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=ie&lang=en&os=2093&product=3403586

I would like as many options as possible, if possible.

Thank you in advance

HP ASUS P5LP-LE (lionite)
Bios 5.21 either older or newer, doesnt matter

Please help I need to unlock to overclock. If you have slick for it that would also be helpfull.

whats the model number on your computer? I am having trouble getting that download link to work, so i can look at the original bios. Looks like theres a couple different versions hp has for that motherboard also.

i have an HP Pavilion a6113w
How risky based by a percentage. If it over 50% then i would do the retail mod.

70% chance it will work.... however your bios is not socketed so if it fails you have a door stop. also i counted 4 different hp P5LP-LE boards yours is actually a lionite2. Prob not worth the risk. I found this on another board

"Ok Asus P5lp-le owners I have Overclocked the board! With Months of reaserch I can at least get it to 3.1ghz. All you need is Clockgen. Google it. After you download it click pll setup and choose ICS 945123. then check off Ignore GSP/PCI. Then click Read clocks. You can now close that window. Then press Pll controle make sure the cpu clock is at 2800 or w/e you're running on. I pushed mine up to 3016.21 a little after that the pc locks up after moving the bar up click apply selection. Now close that window and click options Make sure both boxes are cheked off. This Actualy overclocks a little diffrently so you have let the program start on start up don't block it or it won't work after start up. Also make sure you don't go to high because of cooling, locking up, and underclocking."

.zip   PH1614.zip (Size: 38.7 KB / Downloads: 28) yeah i did the clockgen thing but i am looking for something more stable. I found out that the bios is done by phoenix, i have an attached that is the bios editor or something i found on the net. I found out the bios thing through pc wizard 2010. i will try to find a good dload for the lionite bios. o and i will be trying your suggestion.

Cant get this open to unlock settings but have managed a HP 2.1 SLIC Mod Smile

Here you go , i used HP 2.1 SLIC + Certificate Included:-

1. Copy and paste ******.XRM-MS certificate file into C-Drive.

2. After pasting this file into C-Drive, go to START - ALL PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - COMMAND PROMPT. Right click on Command Prompt and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

3. When Command Prompt opens, type at the prompt: slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\********.xrm-ms and hit the Enter Button. Wait for the Script Host to answer you with a message that the license was installed successfully....this could take a few minutes and so be patient.

4. After receiving the message that the license was installed successfully, type at the command prompt:

slmgr.vbs -ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-***** (Replace with any OEM SLP Product Key for your installed version of Windows 7 , they are not hard to find).Be Patient and wait for the message to say that the Product Key was sucessfully installed. After it says successfully installed, reboot the computer.

5. When you are back at your desktop, go to START - COMPUTER - right click on Computer and choose PROPERTIES and see if it is activated with an OEM product ID.
