[UNLOCKED] HP dv6 1XXX / dv7 2XXX F.46 Advanced/Power/ Tab Unlock /NWL
#51
So i just created this account to post this question... this has been a major issue for me recently and im hoping to get it fixed here. I recently added new ram to my laptop and now my computer gets a blue screen and restarts every time i play a game for a while. I concluded that it must be because of the memory settings in the bios since my laptop worked fine with my old ram but when i entered the bios i realized Insyde h20 f.34 does not have such settings. Can someone help me? is there another way to access those setting? if not can someone help me unlock my bios to get those settings?

I have an HP envy m6 and i went from 6 gb of ram to 16gb. G.Skill is the manufacturer of the ram.

Thanks!

BDMaster, it would be greatly apprenticed if you could re-uploaded these files again, or just post the sha1/md5 checksum hashes to check against the files 0x0000ce uploaded onto Google Drive.

Thank you for your time.

Is this the latest versions and how do I flash the Bios with both .fd files? Do I put the first one on a usb, flash the bios, and the repeat with the second file? A step by step guide would really be appreciated if you have one or have the time to write one up, thank you.

In case this is still relevant to you:
One BIOS contains the Power menu and the other contains the Advanced menu. So what you have to do is flash one, adjust whatever settings you need in the menu it unlocks, then flash the other one and adjust whatever settings you need in the menu it unlocks. For example, flash the one with the power menu, adjust the power settings, and when you are okay with them, flash the one with the advanced menu, and adjust these settings. TheĀ  settings will be saved. Switch back and forth between them as you please. You simply need to switch BIOS to switch which menu you have unlocked. Yeah, it's convoluted

If, like me, you only want to disable the whitelists, you can just flash any of them and it'll work.
