Can someone help me out with a fully unlocked BIOS for Lenovo G500 - 78CN25WW (V2.03) to help me work on Mac. My Wifi isn't supported and my BIOS doesn't allow me to overclock and customize my video or other Hardware settings.
P.S. Don't touch Video Settings could brick laptop.

I also just picked up a Lenovo G500 running 64 bit Windows 8.1 with a faulty Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter for WiFi. I wanted to try several others I have on hand, including a Broadcom 43224AG dual band, and a Broadcom BCM95312HMG both from HP laptops, only to discover this horrific attempt at extortion from yet another vendor (like HP ink cartridges, Microsoft's XP hardware takeovers in the past). I joined and signed the Change.org petition, asking all others to protect their own Rights to the fullest - like the Right to determine how their own property will be used, which is ANY which way they want!
Meanwhile, I also need some help. If I'm to get any use out of this laptop, I need WiFi access, and since they installed a junk (now failed) adapter in the first place, I want to decide what goes back in it's place, not them. I downloaded the first (Backup Tools 12) you listed, but got an avast! unwanted program blockage on the second file (Universal Bios Backup...), so did not pursue it. Hope the first one is sufficient to secure help in destroying the whitelist in my 78CN25WW BIOS. Thanks in advance for any help solving this issue.

I appreciate the quick reply. The reason I haven't reported the results yet, is that I haven't been able to figure out how to install the altered BIOS yet. When I do, I'll let you know how well it worked. Thanks.
