Hi BDMaster ,

Thanks for the reply, I understand you wrote my name on the filename but the laptop model and bios version is totally difference than the one you gave me before?

The one you gave me last night was "Lenovo_G70-80-Z70-80_B6CN15WW_NWL_ADV_Elevenfire" , but the new one is "Lenovo_G400S_G500S_7BCN36WW_NWL_ADV_Elevenfire.rar "

I just want to make sure evertonprochinski's post won't mixed up our conversion last night Smile

I here post again the failed result I got last night:

C:\modified>fptw64 -f bios.bin -bios

So should I still use the same procedure to apply the new bios mod?

Million Thanks,

Hi BDMaster,

In addition, the link you gave me to patch last night is http://rghost.net/8CQ4vNlhj

Hi BDMaster,

I used the bin file inside "Lenovo_G400S_G500S_7BCN36WW_NWL_ADV_Elevenfire.rar", unzip to c:\modified, put the notebook to sleep, wake it up and run:

fptw64 -f bios.bin -bios

and the got the prompt indicates the write length is longer than the file length as show as attached, which then I stopped there.

So I believe this file is not for my ideapad G70-70 Smile

Hope you can give me another file to patch.

Million Thanks,
Eric
