Hi! There is a problem with Lenovo Y510P, this machine has M.2 NGFF slot, but mostly all of available SSD failed to work in AHCI mode.
I investigated that its all because of missing support of DevSLP (sata devsleep) function in Y510p uefi bios.
I read a dump from my board and try to unlock function. Via UEFI tool i found devsleep uefi driver and in "SetupUtility" there is a string devslp mode. (see screenshots 1 2 )
i cant activate this function via Phoenix+perl script+EFI, because there is no any word devsleep in uefidump.log. its very strange.
help please, lenovo will not release any new bios updates i guess, and there are many people who bought SSD and can't run them in ahci mode (ide have limitations and don't support trim)
