#61
Copied the contents of that rar (lenovo .... mod.rar) to a c:\modified folder
placed the laptop in sleep using the power/sleep option. Then woke up and run the command as above
got a few messages:
PDR Region does not exist
GBE region does not exist
then
Error 7 hw sequencing failed. Make sure you have access to target area.
Got that 3 times
failed to erase this block 3 times

mmm... I think that's way over my comfort level and too much of a hassle, although it looks pretty simple and easy.
would it be possible to flash the Yoga 3 pro bios into this laptop or would it render it unusable? I'm assuming the Yoga 3 would accept this wifi card

Hello....

I am considering a computer I wish to swap the wifi card in will result in a need to buy and use an eeprom burner. My question for you, is there a way to do it without any soldering? Are there any clips that could enable the programming without taking out the chip? Lenovo is bad.

thanks for all your help!

Only depends about the Bios Version as actually are all RSA Protected and We cannot
reflash back the Bios Mod !

Use this tool run It as Admin and upload here the result file :

Hello!

I'm trying to install an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 card, but I get the infamous "Unauthorized wireless card" error upon boot.

I'm requesting for a whitelist removal or to add the new card to the whitelist.

My current BIOS version for my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro: 76CN31WW

Link to manufacturer website for BIOS:
http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds035004

PCI ID of wireless card:
Vender 8086, Device 08B2

RSA signed, acknowledge risks:
I understand.

Downloadable name:
76cn43ww.exe

Stupid greedy Lenovo, you gotta love them for the unethical, unnecessary whitelists...
Thank you in advance!

Hi folks,

I need a whitelist removal for my Yoga pro 2.

Bios is: 76CN43WW

Already bought this WiFi Card but it is Whitelistet: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 - Netzwerkadapter - M.2 Card, 7260.NGWWB Sad

I am new to all this so I'd be happy to receive some next steps.

Thanks in advance!

Best,
Oliver
