I'm looking for a unlocked bios for a emachines el1330
motherboard WMCP61M

I want to upgrade the video board with a pciex1 radeon hd4530, I can't disable the onboard video or choice the init display first on the bios.
the pc boot but don't recognize/see the pcie card (blank screen)...

according to this (el1200 seem's to have the same motherboard but the 1330 have the second pcie bus wired)

Try this unlocked bios. You have lots more features now including an option called Init Display First which you can set to PCI Express , should solve the issue

Nice forum you have here.

I have been looking for a BIOS update for my eMachines EL1331G-01W which also uses the WMCP61M MB.

The eMachine BIOS has the same version number as the link you gave, so I downloaded it & gave it a try.

All appeared to go well but on restart it will no long POST & beeps continuously.

Well that does solve my problem of not being able to select the default graphic adapter.

Mind you, I'm not complaining, just showing everyone the other side of the coin.

In the end, it just helped move me in a better direction for building a Micro ATX Slim Media Center PC.
