Hm im not sure. I would say there was something wrong with the mod itself if you never had SLIC 2.1 appear. However , thats not true as it WAS working so something you must have done/installed could have possibly knocked out the SLIC activation.

I have tested "1537 SLIC 2.1 v5 - 2.rar ( http://megaupload.com/?d=XQU5KBFP )" Bios Update with my Dell Studio 1537 Notebook, and I can confirm: it works fine!

Ok i couldnt wait so i flashed using 1537 SLIC 2.1 v5 file.
It worked and verified with slic toolkit 3.2 but i have to ask this,
When I open with slic toolkit i get "There are 2 slic tables in the
XSDT BIOS"" The current slic table is NO:1"
Select the next slic table? Yes or No
i opened both and they seem to be the same. Am I good to go?

Hi, I would like to upgrade the bios on my Dell 1537 still to version A09. What is the latest bios mod generated for this model (Link???) and what are the benefits it brings?
I have attempted to locate this mod which has already been done years ago but all links are expired. Could some kind soul please re-link it or recreate. Very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
