What do You mean "fails to boot" ?
Blackscreen , Beeping, not switch on ?
First try to reset CMOS using Battery internal MoBo or jumper (find by Google)
Let me know
Regards

Hi, Thanks for the super quick response!

Blackscreen. When i turn it on the fan spins, power light goes on for only 2 seconds and then it shuts itself of and after 5 seconds back on and this cyclus keeps repeating itself endlessly

I already tried removing RTC battery but that didn't reset the bios. Cant find a jumper, found a hardware gap but its in a manual for a S3-391 and mine is S3-951 i found a simular hardware gap called "G2101" but its a very hard procedure to short it and turn the pc on. So i first want to try all other options.

The laptop does react on the recovery command fn + esc. It then stay on but it doesn't seem to do anything. Afther 20 minutes it just goes to sleep i think (flashing powerlight with fans off.)

Very stupid of me to change the memory speed on this lappy, i'm used to be able to reset CMOS easy with jumper or shorting battery but that doesn't seem to work on this one Huh

Hi friend,
I have got a similar issue and I have to reprogram Eeprom Chip !
To clear CMOS is enough to remove battery from MoBo.
Try to switch on Laptop without RAM sticks and without battery, just to test and
then remount all to switch on again !
Let me know
Regards

Removed main battery and RTC battery for 10min. Didn't reset the bios.
Can't remove ram, its solderd onto the mobo. Worst thing is, I know its just a wrong memory setting. It looks like these modern laptops are made to self destruct.

How to reprogram Eeprom chip?

Thanks for the help!

Use AIDA64 (Cracked version to get Full Report) and upload a Full Report here !
Then a Screenshot or a Report.txt by CPUz and upload here !
There are more VT :

VT-d
VT-i
VT-x

0x20E68 Suppress If:
0x20E6B Variable 0x331[1] equals 0x0
0x20E72 Setting: VT Support, Variable: 0x1BB[1]
0x20E7B Option: Enabled, Value: 0x1
0x20E84 Option: Disabled, Value: 0x0

0x26257 Grayout If:
0x2625A Variable 0x1 equals 0x1
0x26260 Text: VT-d:
0x2626B End If

Into your Bios You can enable only VT-d not VT-x !
Use this tool to check It :

http://www.intel.com/support/processors/tools/piu/

Or use AIDA64, CPUz like above . . .
