[REQUEST] Lenovo Yoga 2.11 whitelist removal
Ok friend,
The best thing is to get the Tools to get free (SPI Programmer + Clip) but
We can try before this trick :

0x21067    Setting: LPSS SPI Support, Variable: 0x163
0x2108D     Option: Disabled, Value: 0x0
0x210A9     Option: Enabled, Value: 0x1
0x210C5    End of Options

0x2179D Setting: BIOS Read/Write Protection, Variable: 0x1FC
0x217C3 Option: Enabled, Value: 0x1
0x217DF Option: Disabled, Value: 0x0 (default)
0x217FB End of Options

0x21A25     Setting: TXE HMRFPO , Variable: 0x170
0x21A4B      Option: Disabled, Value: 0x0 (default)
0x21A67      Option: Enabled, Value: 0x1
0x21A83     End of Options

With the above, how would one amend these in a hex editor?

It's not to apply on Bios file but just to set into Hi-Mem Protected (NVRAM Emulation) so
only writing by FlaseClock Method is possible !
Regards

P.S. another user on Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro has done same and worked so i will ask to him !

Your Brain . . . . It's the best tool U can use ! Wink

Yoga Pro 2 has different bios though!!

I have tried GRUB and GRUB 2 and it boots to efi shell no problem.

It just will not boot that inside bios mod tool file, just hangs on black screen.

What is sleep bug?

Why would I need to downgrade the bios? I thought using SPI programme you extract from eeprom, modify and then flash modified bios?

I have searched for 92cn23ww / 92cn26ww, as these are the earlier bios versions for the yoga 2 11

Regards
John

Hey

I have my CH341A programmer and SOIC8 cable.

Laptop has been stripped down and I have located the BIOS chip

What do I need to do now then / how do I use this thing? Assuming I plug programmer into another laptop, then hook up the cable to the programmer and then to the BIOS chip?

Thanks
