see your HW-programmer
full dump - all regions, 8k

My programmer has no such feature. Only read

are you sure that the chip is correctly identified?

I do not understand why the modification does not work

Programmer identifies the chip as mx25l3205d chip on board is mx25l3206e
There is no option for that chip in the programmer

I did find this
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7WYx7u...edit?pli=1

Something about bios needing to be same size as the bin. The file you sent me is bigger than original bin. Maybe that is the problem?

This is the one that worked. Thanks!!

I have another t530 that is the same model number and same hardware. Will this file work for it too or do I need to dump it first?

Ok dear users on Bios-Mods.com !!!
After a discussion with TheWiz and agree to site rules and new initiatives to
make this site more interesting and open to self-modding . . . I will continue the "AutoMod"
Method to modify by himself the Bios ! (I were 1st to introduce and create this Method and
thanks to excellent contribute of CodeRush AMI Developer and Super-Modder) . . .
Going into the relative past You can found many Posts of mine like this :

https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...val?page=2

Hi friend,
I want to start a New Way to pass Mods to users :

AutoMod

Using CodeRush Tool UEFIPatch + Patches.txt We can do the Mod by ourself, in any time and wherever We are !!!

Just use the right Patches.txt for the own Bios Version, so for G4ETA4WW use this one !!!

How to use ? . . .
It's easy, just do a biosbackup.bin file (You can use FPT tool which I will upload for every
Bios Patch and will be specified the Bios size to get the right one and not make wrong), then
drag&drop the biosbackup.bin on UEFIPatch.exe (the Patches.txt file has to be togheter at tool)
It will reply with a file patched, then rename that file as bios.bin, put It into modified folder
where are all rest tools to re-flash Bios Mod and copy all files from modified folder to an
USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and Boot from USB !
Then at CLI Prompt Comand run flash.bat That's It all !

Here is the Bios Backup Tool (Thanks to Serg008) to get the result file just run It
as Aministrator and wait for result, then to get your biosbackup file just unpack
the resut file using WinRar v.5320 or above and get the .bin file something like
this "x32_bios-region_8.1.51.1476.bin" You can copy and rename as biosbackup.bin  :

http://rghost.net/7GBZt7FVt

Here CodeRush Tool :

http://rghost.net/7qXJWCBtn

The Patches.txt file for G4ETA4WW (2.64) NWL + ADV :

http://rghost.net/89sF6zplf

The FPT Tool to reflash the Bios Mod :

http://rghost.net/6gVKJg6ch

Here Modified folder with all tools to re-flash Bios Mod from USB, follow instructions :

Inthis case use the SPI Programmer and the Clip

I hope It will become the New Mod Way, but will return a new age surely !!!

Let me know
regards

Hello,

i have a thinkpad t530 and i want to exchange the wireless card so i can run a hackintosh with pcie wifi.

I have a raspberry pi and i'm thinking about modding the bios with the help of a sop8 clip.

But before i'm actually going to mod the bios i'm trying to rebrand a wireless card so it will work with the "locked" bios.

Can somebody help me by extracting the id's of the allowed wifi adapters in this laptop?

I know there are different threads on here about this laptop like:
https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...val?page=2

but i coudn't find the whitelist there.

Link to the current BIOS i'm running:
https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/g4uj29us.exe

Thanks in advance!

PS: I'm willing to donate for help!
