[REQUEST] HP Pavilion G6 1010eg (Ver. F.66) Unlock
#1
Hello there,

I totally new here and would like to ask if anyone would unlock my Insyde H2O BIOS please. Rolleyes
I read some things about BIOS modding but anyway giving me some hints wouldn't be bad.
I would like to have access to my advanced tab.

Name of the Notebook: HP Pavilion g6 1010eg
Link to Original HP BIOS (Version F.66): http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp60501-61000/sp60864.exe
Intel Core I5 480M Processor. ATI/AMD Radeon HD 6470M Graphics Card.
I hope I didn't forgot any nessecary information.
If nobody wants to unlock my bios, please give me some tips how to do it on my own.

Thank you

Hello. I have a similiar HP laptop.

Latest moddable bios version is F24. If you want to unlock advanced tab, you need to downgrade your bios to F24.

First, downgrade your bios to F24: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp53501-54000/sp53872.exe

Then install this modded bios (made by @donovan6000): http://www.mediafire.com/download/xghzr1...p53872.zip

It didn't worked. First i flashed the f.24 bios (without Problems), then the modificated one. Insydeflash shutted down the pc and with the first rebooot, i opened up the bios menu. Everything was unlocked and i went to the System configuration tab and setted graphics mode to dGPU (That was almost all what i did). Finally i choosed exit saving changes, the display turned OFF (Not just Black) and won't turn on anymore. I restarted it multiple times but nothing happened. Btw when i Start the pc i can see that the HDD is in use and when i wait a bit more i can hear the Windows Login Sound. It seems that the pc boots Windows normally up but the screen stays off. Sad any ideas what i can do now?

You can also plug an external display.

Also, did you set Pci Express graphics on the internal display menu?

Thank you for your replies Smile, i will try now to clear cmos by removing Motherboard battery and ram. I Set dGPU that means dedicated GPU, i think its the PCI express amd radeon hd 6470M graphics card.
