Noob here, My name is Nate. Can anyone tell me or submit a link to a mod-bios or standard release bios that will actually detect a RAID array in less than 2 minutes, preferably less than 5 seconds for the ASUS P5K Deluxe WiFi/Ap mobo.
I have already rebuilt my RAID array twice and flashed several standard and beta asus bios' that simply don't detect RAID at all, even when installed and set properly. I found a custom bios mod "P5K Deluxe 1005-imr10.6.0-jm1.07.28.rom" (attached) on bios-mods.com which does certainly detect and run my RAID SSD's, but with HUGE delay on detection ~1.5-2 minutes. Thank you for this gem! sincerely. It's way better than no RAID.
I'm totally ok with flashing the board with crazy tweaked bios' as long as the RAID will detect quickly. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
The board has ICH9R and AMI. I'd love to get this thing running with the highest possible Intel and Jmicron Option ROMS if possible. Currently the Intel O-Rom version is 10.6.0 and JMicron is 1.07.28. Hope that helps.
One last question. If I find Option Rom bins on the net for Intel and JMicron can I somehow MUX them myself into the ASUS AMI bios with a simple PC utility (maybe one that works in the windows environment)?
Thanks so much! I hear you guys are the best at this,
Nate
