Hi,
My computer is a Packard Bell EASYNOTE ST85-M-003FR.
It currently runs Windows Vista Home Premium.
I've tried to mod my bios with amitool.exe but without success.
I've extracted the right certificate (there are 2 certificates for Packard Bell / Nec Computers) and slic 2.0 files with SLIC_Dump_ToolKit.exe. Both files are attached to this post. They were renamed with .txt file extension to be uploaded.
My bios contains a slic/slip 2.0 table but I'm unable to install Windows 7 ultimate with it. It keeps telling me Windows is not activated.
Here is the link to download the original bios :
PackardBellEasyNoteST85M003FROriginalBios
Once executed the downloaded exe file (enote-st85-p10.exe), you can find the bios file named PBH17HV0.P10 in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\is-XXXXX.tmp\
This file is too big to be uploaded.
Thanks for your help in modding my bios.
Regards and great respect for your wonderful work.
