Is it possible to modify a laptop's BIOS to allow a Trinity (2nd gen AMD APU) to run on a motherboard designed for Llano (1st gen AMD APU). Llano uses socket fs1, while Trinity uses fs1r2. Both processor families use the same chipset and have the same socket pin layout. Because of that, I think that it might be possible to mod the BIOS to allow an upgrade, but I have no idea on how to be sure. Any feedback on this would be super. Thanks.
