Sony vaio Insyde bios recovery

I have a sony vaio SVE15115EN which just got bricked. I did get it checked by a friend, who said the bios is the problem. So from where can i get the original bios, anybody got it....I tried the sony website, all i could get was an update to the bios. Which is an executable file, i extracted it to find a file named R0240E6.bin. I copied it to my flash drive and tried the following:-

1. Remove the battery.
2. pressed the power button for like 20-30 sec.
3. inserted the flash drive with the file
4. Pressed on Fn+esc and plugged the ac adapter
5. Pressed the power button still holding onto the fn+esc keys..
6. after the usb drive led started blinking... released the keys.
7. the system leds where On for like a minute.... then the system shut down by itself.
8. i removed usb ... put the battery and pressed the power ...
9. no use still no display... it stays like that for some time and shuts down...


So guys please help me .............
