(I have no idea is this the right section for this)
Hey!
I'm new to the forum and new to updating/flashing the BIOS
So, I got an old Packard Bell desktop from a friend who didn't need it anymore, and i i would like it to be running with bit more performance. I read, that updating the bios in this mobo would allow me to use from 3 to 4 Gb of RAM (2 is maximum, currently)
My bios version is W7301VP2.308 The Mobo model is cuba ms-7301
I would like well explained guide how to flash/update my BIOS. I tried searching on the packard bell website but i guess they have stopped support for older models like this one.
Also, i would like to overclock my CPU a little bit, would unlocking/updating/flashing/whatever allow that? From 1.86GHz to like 2.1 or so.
Thanks in advance.
