Website Design/Layout Feedback
#1
I was wondering if the owner of this website could kindly fix several bugs regarding the layout of the website. Currently the following bugs exist:

Code:
The page at 'https://www.bios-mods.com/welcome/2014/05/wifi-whitelist-removal-petition/' was loaded over HTTPS, but displayed insecure content from 'http://www.mpltest.org/sites/marionpubliclibrary.org/files/field/image/sign-the-petition.jpg': this content should also be loaded over HTTPS.
(index):1

Consider using 'dppx' units, as in CSS 'dpi' means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual 'dpi' of a screen. In media query expression: (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.5), (min-resolution: 144dpi) follow_button.1409007440.html:1

Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CACHE_MISS https://apis.google.com/se/0/_/+1/fastbutton?usegapi=1&origin=https%3A%2F%2…242886906&parent=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bios-mods.com&pfname=&rpctoken=89676134

Uncaught ReferenceError: iframes is not defined fastbutton?usegapi=1&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bios-mods.com&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bios-mods.com%2Fw…:30

Also, it's in best practice not to bold/unbold onhoverover/:hover, which is currently being used on the main page in the "Downloads" links. Causes the text and borders of the boxes to move around, doesn't look clean.

The custom google search bar also goes outside the defined left sidebar size.

For reference, using Google Chrome Version 38.0.2125.24 dev-m

This isnt to bash or call out mistakes on anyone in particular, just wanted to point these out to speedup the site by showing the bugs, and giving friendly feedback. Smile

Hello StopSpazzing,

Thank you for your input on improving this site! Smile

These are valid points and I will be notifying bios-mods.com owner TheWiz of this thread so that changes can be discussed.

Thanks,
Steven

!!!!!PLEASE READ!!!!!! Our Ukrainian friends are undergoing atrocities right now and need support. There are two things you can do for starters:

1.) Donate to one of various organizations offering medical, military, and psychological support to those impacted: Support Organizations

2.) Combat misinformation on social media.

Also, please feel free to PM me if I have not replied again about your BIOS mod request after 5 days.
