Hello, I'm looking to overclock my CPU on my HP motherboard. As I'm sure you're aware, HP doesn't add any overclocking options to their OEM motherboard.
I have an i7-2600s, so I'm not sure if a modded BIOS would work or not, but I don't see how Intel would be able to block the BIOS from controlling the multiplier if it's modded.
Anyway, I'm in need of a modded BIOS that can still launch the recovery media since I don't have an actual Windows 7 disk and the key is most likely burnt into the CMOS or whatever.
Motherboard is a Pegatron 2AC2. Here's where I last downloaded an update for my BIOS: HP download page
Sorry if I'm missing any information, I'm new to the concept of BIOS modding and didn't see any stickied threads about how to make requests.
