I have this motherboard (K9N6PGM2-V) and when booting up the bios version says it is AMI v02.61, however in Windows when I run the live update utility for this board it says my bios version is 9.40 and the mainboard model is MS-7309. I have a BIOS mod a friend made based on it being 2.61 but I stopped in my tracks when I saw the 9.40.

I'm new at all this and am looking for any advice, clarity and help.

Thanks for the response but I got it figured out. Actually getting the information you asked for is how I found the solution, so I suppose I should also thank you for your help! Smile
