First of all, if someone is looking down for doing this with a AWARD Bios, I can answer you, that, yes! you can do that with CBROM by adding a new module and if you have a little extra space on the chip!!!
But on this matter, Im asking if this could be done with a AMI Bios that doesnt have this kind of feature. I think that it could be done by adding a 1E or 0E module on the bios with MMTool or trying by manipulating the 1A module with a full screen logo (something like 640x640) image.
But first of all, Ive tryed to extract the original 1A module that says it is a Small logo (thinking that could be AMI logo). So them, once extracted in both ways compressed and uncompressed, ether way I try to open them with InfraView, putting down a jpg, bmp or pcx extension is a dead end, it cant be opened. Trying with raw extension it does open, but its all messed up, but I can barely see the traingles of AMI logo )i think if a play with the dimension of the image I can get it correctly. But this isnt the point.
I got this post that Im looking down to put a full screen logo (image as specifyed attached at the post to be inserted), on the BIOS. But I dont know in which format to save the image to replace the original image module with MMTool.
Trying to do this by fun and because it could be cool to see other mobo on a real HP case and with a full screen logo (real mobo of the case was dead by a electrical shock).
