Don't know what can be done here as this board claims that it is limited to am2 cpu's up to 95 watts. Oh and I am running the modded bios version 5.27 that I have attatched. Let me know. Thanks

The nettle2 is actually limited to 89watts. I was thinking about trying to add Phenom support by replacing the modules from the Nettle3 bios to then nettle2, but as we are kind of still in the dark right now besides the AGESA, we are in the proccess of contacting people and doing more research.
Hold tight!

So is the Wattage limiting factor just a software limit or is it more related to circuit capacity? (kind of like a fuse i guess).?

hardware limit, but if we could get Phenom support then the 65watt phenoms would work fine. You might be able to push 95, but it normally doesnt end well.

What kind of performance increase would I be looking at from my x2 4400 @ 2.88ghz to a 65 watt phenom? Worth doing?

OMG, that kind of comparison you would see a way noticable difference, but I still ahven;t quite wrapped my head around adding the AGESA NCPUCODE module, but imgetting there.
If you ahve a backup bios chip, we could try taking the support from the nettle3 cpu code and add it back into the 2.

OK folks, I have succesfully cracked the AMD microcode and will now make a TEST BUILD. Please only test if you have the resources to do so.
Here's the breakdown: This first should have all the microcode for the AM3 CPU's to date. because this bios is only 512K though, I wasn't able to update MEMinit.bin. so, while you can still try this one: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1525839/Bios/527MODcpu.bin , I have a better solution below.
This version has all the microcode and agesa patches from the next version of this board, which is the Nettle3. this means that support for all the dual cores and first gen Phenoms should be in here. Please note that the nettle2 is ONLY CAPABLE OF A MAX CPU TDP OF 89W, so you should have a CPU under 89W (which the phenoms do come in 65W., but lets test this stuff first, shall we?)
So Here's the one that adds the support from Nettle3 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1525839/Bios/527MOD%28N%29.bin
After looking things over, either one looks really good, so if you have the means to test, there you are. Make sure you rename file to bios.bin on flash.

Good news, I tested the second version. It posts, boots , bios setup works fine, and everything is functional. I don't know if the increased cpu support part is working as I don't have a phenom processor to test with. But as far as I can tell the flash itself is safe, just to clarify which one i flashed it is the one that adds the support from Nettle3 board.

I have successfully modded my HP MCP61PM-HM Motherboard as described in the undermentioned link :
http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-HP...ng-Options
First of all thanks to all the members of the team who worked hard over the bios.
Now lets come to the point, I need to run AMD Sempron 140 / 2.7 GHz / AM3 Socket / 45W TDP ; over this motherboard.
When I put it in, I JUST GET A BLACK SCREEN, NOTHING ELSE !!!
I would appreciate if someone give me the bios, which would let this motherboard to support the AMD Sempron 140 Processor.
Additional Information
-------------------------------
Currently running AMD X2 Athlon 6000+ Dual Core Processor.
Everything Working Fine but Motherboard doesn't support the AMD Sempron 140 Processor
Regards,
Kamal P
