Dear All, I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 which I bought in 2011. As I was reading to much about security in those days hence ended up having a password on bios. Now couple of days ago I was installing Oracle Virtual Box and was unable to run a VM as needed to enable some options in bios. I figured that I don't remember the password and cannot access the bios. The password appears when I press 'Del'. I was wondering if there is a way to bypass the password or get it reset. In old days I had done that on PC i.e. taking battery out and resetting the jumper but not sure about laptops. Would anyone please help. I have following bios version.
BIOS Version/Date LENOVO 29CN38WW(V2.15), 28/01/2011
Any help or pointers will be highly appreciated.
Regards
