Interface descriptor missing after hex edit

Edited the hex value of the bios value that contains the wifi whitelest of a Compaq v2606vt to take my current card that I put in so that I wouldn't have to hotswap. After doing the edit and rebuilding the bios(no errors) I get a error about the interface descriptor when attempting a flash. Total noob
