Hello everyone.
I have a laptop HP DM1-4130ss
-Manufacturer: HP
-Motherboard Model: ?
-Bios revision: F.19 , F.15 , F.11
-Bios Type: ?
-Bios Download Link:
F.19 http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp60501-61000/sp60868.exe
F15 http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56501-57000/sp56606.exe
F11 http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp54501-55000/sp54926.exe
My wireless card Broadcom 4313 offers very poor performance on Linux and would like to change.
But what I read in this forum, HP has a whitelist in the BIOS that would block me any other wireless card, right?
I must flash the BIOS to unlock and can use a different wireless card?
In other post I've seen that this model of portable (variants DM1-4100 series) are signed RSA, I do not understand this.
If someone helps me I appreciate it.
Regards.
