Hi to everyone, i just subscribed to this forum, and i'm a absolute newbie about bios modding.

Anyway: recently turned out that the preinstalled wi-fi card of my mother laptop doesn't work anymore, so i bought a pair of wi-fi cards (used ones, i paid only the shipping), only for bumping into the whilelist wall.

The laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6 6178SL with Linux Mint 18.1

There are any other parameters i should post?
There is a modded BIOS for this laptop model out there?
If so, how can i flash it?
