Hello everyone,
I have a Dell XPS system from 10 years ago with a Intel i7 920 2.67GHz, 24GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance RAM, 500GB SDD,
The system runs great, especailly since I put in the SSD.
The motherboard is Dell 0X501H, the BIOS is, Dell A16 02/04/2010
The BIOS is very boring and has really no options dealing with the CPU for overclocking.
Is there anyway I can update the BIOS?
For me to buy a new CPU, I have to buy the CPU, Motherboard and RAM as well so it would be a over a 1000$ to upgrade.
Anyone have any suggestions ideas?
I'd to overclock the CPU, perhaps maybe too 3.00GHz.
Thank you.
