[Request] GA-Z68M-D2H i3 3240 support
#1
Hello, i recently decided to try upgrading my current cpu to one that i had lying around, what i have right now is an i3 2100, but i had a considerable upgrade in the form of an i3 3240 just lying around, i checked online to see if it was the same socket, it was, i put it in my desktop and it didnt work, afterwards i found out that my motherboard doesnt support the specific cpu, despite it having:
1. A lower wattage
2. Compatible size (22nm)
3. socket (LGA1155)
My pc did recognize the cpu, but it didnt boot and would restart itself 10seconds after being turned on.

My motherboards bios: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-...rt-dl-bios
Thanks in advance.

Post screenshots of first (CPU) & third (Mainboard) tabs of CPU-Z with supported CPU.
Can you enter in BIOS with new CPU?

cant enter bios with the new cpu, while launching it shows me my ram, cpu and some other stuff, doesnt let me do anything and it resets itself shortly after
