I am using a great motherboard from Gigabyte - GA-EP45-DS3R Rev1.0.
I hope someone could help me to update fuctionality to my MB Mod Bios.
The version i use is:
Manufacturer: Gigabyte
Model: GA-EP45-DS3R (Rev 1.0)
Bios Type: Award
Bios Revision: F11i
SLIC: Gigabyte 2.1
SLP: N/A
Modded CBROM32 + AWARD SLIC Mod 1.50
Mod method: SSV3
Flash from DOS with Included Flash Utility.
Extra's:
Realtek - v2.60 (LAN)
Intel RAID - v13.5.0.2164
Raid Trim Support
Xeon Microcode
SLI Certification
** I don't use a Xeon CPU mine is:
Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 (my Bios is modded for Xeon CPU) - is it possible to delete the Xeon microcode?
Is it possible to upgrade the version of the Intel RAID to the latest one supported by the MB?
Is it possible to update the version of the LAN?
AHCI support is on version 1.20 is it possible to upgrade to an updated latest one supported by the MB?
I know that my request is a lot of work .. Please really love my MB but need to update
