I understand that HP does not want people to get into their bios and brick there system but I'm sure they could add important info that if you do it then the warranty would be no longer honored. I cannot believe that I pay for a machine that I cannot use the right speed ram for, there is no way that I know of to use xmp in the bios. As far as I can see this is not even considered to be an overclock at least not technically. Is there any way to do this without changing the cpu voltage? I'm reading about this but really don't understand how to do this using software. My computer is the HP pavilion 595-p0xxxx model the board is an 843b the bios is by American Megatrends, Inc. its called a H.P. setup utility that allows you to do nothing. the version is 2,20,1271 any help with this would be greatly appreciated I'm presuming that its a dead deal but could be and would love to be surprised. thank you for taking the time to read this and with any info you can give..
