Hi Everyone,
I´ve accidentialy upgraded my Gigabyte BRIX gb-bsi3ha-6100 with a BIOS for a BRIX gb-bki5ha-7200. I was in a hurry an did not double check...
It results in a black screen after windows boots up, cause windows pulls the wrong graphic drivers, cause it expects an i5 CPU 7th generation.
I tried to flash with the correct BIOS using afuefix64.efi, but therefor you need to set a switch in BIOS "Me FW Image Re-Flash". This switch is active till a reboot, and after saving the BIOS the machine boots twice, resulting that this switch is disabled again.
Trying to update the BIOS using afuwin64.exe gives me error 4c - ROM file information does not match system BIOS.
Is there a chance to get the original BIOS back on that machine? Like editing the GB-BSi3HA-6100 BIOS to fit on the gb-bki5ha-7200-System? Probably it checks the CPU-ID?
Links to the BIOS:
Correct one: GB-BSi3HA-6100
Wrong one, I used to flash: GB-BKi5HA-7200
Thanks in advance.
