Hi.
I have a Dell Latitude G3 3579 LA-F611P (this was a storage and was a bit outdated); that was running an old bios (below 1.8.0), and all was working good; after windows update, it updated the bios to the latest version (1.20.0), and now every time I turn on the laptop I get an error about TPM, saying “Alert! TPM device is not detected.”
I have attempted a few fixes, like CMOS reset, bios settings, bios downgrade, but I can’t get it to downgrade below 1.13.0, and even on 1.13.0 the error still shows.
I have seen online a bios MOD that disables the “TPM Over SPI Bus” and that “fixes” the error; unfortunately, I can’t get my hands on the actual bios (VIP download).
I have enough knowledge to do a dump of the bios and flash the motherboard with a mod bios; but moding the bios is beyond my skills.
So, my question is, would anyone please help me mod my bios so that the TPM is disabled and/or at least the error is hidden (because even if I hide the errors on the bios settings, that one still shows up).
Bios dump.
Thanks,
Dia
