Last time I got a pretty old Notebook which has 1.01 version of BIOS. The problem with him is that right after giving him power fan start spinning and power light is ON when actually he is in OFF state. After click power button fan stops and he turn ON normally. After shutdown it's normally off but a power light stay ON.
I'm using him with Windows 10 and it has Radeon 5650 1GB DDR3.
I think maybe the BIOS update would work for this. But I didn't found any newer than this already installed. I asked Acer support and they gave me nothing.
Found on this forum this thread with similar (or same) notebook. Which has 1.11V of BIOS. https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-U...hines-e732
I wonder if I'm safe to flash this BIOS when I will have BIOS backup made with CH341A. But I'm worried about overwrite ME Region and KBC which could be irreversible with restoring old one.
Can you give me a proposal for this? Is it safe?
