This HP motherboard (Milton, SSID: 86E9 A SMVB) has B365 chipset, and all of its advanced settings are locked away.
Attached is a RAR file [attachment=25028] , which is a backup made HP's update software compressed into RAR format (incompatible, while F.32 to F.36 attached a link for attachment quota below is compatible), current bios is AMI F.36
and 3 pictures for some extra information that may be of help.
I want Above 4g decoding and ReBAR/SAM enabled. Both have been shown to be compatible to this hardware (ASRock did it), but HP didn't address these features in any of their updates.
A compatible bios update from HP (F.32 to F.36) and a backup made by their recovery tool are attached here: BIOS update (link because of the quota).
Note: This update is currently installed; however, it being a compatible update from the OEM can make things easier.
Seems like 86E9 is the board's number, it's the same in all of the following models:
HP M01-D0xxx, HP M01-F0xxx, HP Slim S01-aD0xxx, HP Slim S01-aF0xxx, HP 280 G4, HP 280 G5, HP 282 G5, HP 288 G5, HP 290 G2, HP 290 G3.
They all receive the same bios updates as well.
Here is its BIOS:
hp290g3milton-brevAM11.rar (Size: 6.38 MB / Downloads: 1) ,
I want it unlocked as in its advanced settings to show and to add in Above 4g decoding and ReBAR/SAM.
