Hi there,
I recently bought a Samsung DeskTop system motherboard for cheap to be used for Proxmox and stuff. I found out its bios is whitelisted. So, for modding the bios I tried to extract the bios with the help of bios backup programs (tried every option even which was listed on forum) but failed. Bios always comes out be corrupted.
After that I bought ch341a bios chip programmer to extract the bios directly from the chip. By this time everything was looking straight forward. But now when I went to extract the bios I encountered two exact same bios chips labeled SPI_1 and SPI_2. Did a bit of research found out they may be redundant chips. Anyhow, I extracted the firmware from both of them. So, if they are redundant they must contain same exact data but thats not the case. Both files are different. I came to know it when I ran the both files on Andy P's Pheonix bios editor tool (As BIOS is made by Pheonix). The one on SPI_2 chip opened flawlessly but one on SPI_1 did not. So, they are not the same. I am attaching both files in google drive links.
I have two hypophysis -
1) SPI_1 contained the main bios but now chip is corrupted.
2) SPI_1 chip may contain Intel ME firmware as mobo has ME v5.1.0.0019
I need your help guys to figure out what's the matter as I want to mod the bios.
SPI_1 file -

SPI_2 file -

Additionally, I am new here and still figuring out different forums and what should be asked in each of them So, If I make a mistake of asking a thing on wrong forum please forgive me.
